With the end of year quickly approaching, I decided to look back on the top 5 blogs from 2023.
From travel adventures to restaurant reviews, 2023 was a mix of familiar foodie categories, plus some new additions to the blog. Here are the top 5 favorites from this year:
5. North Haven Island
This was one of my favorite blogs to write from our trip to Maine. Visiting North Haven Island was one of my favorite destinations from our vacation. From the lodging, to touring an oyster farm, and having a delicious meal at our accommodation — the Nebo Lodge Restaurant, I highly recommend a visit to North Haven Island.
4. Cheese Danish Recipe
I managed to have a few recipe videos produced this year, including this easy cheese danish recipe. Cheese danishes are one of my favorite bakery and diner treats. I wanted to try to make my own homemade version. Since this recipe uses premade puff pastry, it was easy to prepare a customizable cheese danish filling.
3. The Waterfront
The Waterfront is one of the best restaurants we visited when staying in Camden, Maine this summer. We ate outside on the deck overlooking the Camden Harbor and boats. This was the first stop (and best) restaurant for lobster rolls, plus refreshing mocktails and blueberry dessert.
2. October Recap
This was one of my favorite monthly recaps to write. Y’all loved this post too, as we all learned about this nearby octagon house tour! Plus, a restaurant review from a new Indian restaurant for lunch where we had some unique dishes like a butter chicken sandwich!
1. June Recap
My first post introducing my new monthly recap series was a hit. Y’all loved reading more than just my foodie content, and I’ve enjoyed sharing more about my travel adventures, book recommendations, and personal reflections. June was my first post in this category, where I reflected on the month through my five senses.
